Thanks for all of the tips, those have helped tremendously. Another thing that helped me was lowering the difficulty. I didn't know there were 2 more ticks below Easy. Beginner and Novice!
Thanks for the tips guys, I did not realize the XP sharing with the sovereigns! I let this game sit for 2yrs before playing it :) Now I can't wait to pre-order Heroes. I'm going to pop back in and give it a go.
Ok, I've been having this game awhile and just started really trying to learn it this past weekend. So, what I've been doing is rushing to find as many heroes/champions as I can find and settle cities/outposts quickly. Now the problem is the way I handle my units. Usually I roll around with a single stack of maybe 3 heroes and as many trained units as the stack can hold. Now, am I supposed to have one hero in a group with trained units?
