OC is ok, just be prepared to burn your hardware. This is especialy true if you start to tingle with voltage. If its the only computer you got and your not experienced i wouldnt do it.

I can only agree that one should seperate the military and the politicians that decide where they go. The folks in the military just do what they are told. If anyone is fucking shit up around the world its the incompent politicians. I think that what most people mean when they say that the US is fucking up the world is the fact that often it have been shown that the US act pretty crazy. You supported the taliban when it was fighting russia in the 80's. Then then 9/11 happen

Most people in denmark got some 10-20 Mbit download and some 1-2 Mbit upload. If this game need to transfer more then 100kb/s then i suggest Stardock gets some new network engineers who have a clue. Im not sure what a "low end connection is" but i dont think 1Mbit up and down is low end when it comes to turn based games.

The_Monk maybe if we all knew what you did. But im afraid that is maybe one in 6 billion people. Seeing your rant against ISO and CD emulation how can you say you have any experience with computers? Last time i checked our entier Microsoft MSDN Gold Partner library came as both DVD's and as ISO's on even more DVD's Las time i checked the Linux and FreeBSD systems i have, was downloadable as ISO files. Tbh i cant remember the last time i used a CD burner or emul

Who said i needed any justification? And yes i do wish to support devs who make good games who dont resort to DRM and yes i support and understand people who pirate DRM games to piss off the devs and publishers who use DRM. Its rather simple if you ask me. The publishers are stupid, they are wrong, im right. Basicly thats the logic and the justification if your looking for any, and poperly the only one you will find. There isnt some universal truth that says its wrong

4chan is somewhat idiotic. This is even more true for /b/ But no way in hell should the internet be censored. People who support it should move to china and see how they like it there. Because that will be the future with all this surveillance and censorship.
Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither.
But why is bigger always better? Its like your average paradox game. NOW WITH 10.000 PROVINCES!!!!¨ I was happy with the 5000 i already had. I rather they improved the gameplay.

Its a myth that consumers can control anything through what they buy unless it happens on a extremly large scale. Which it wont for games. Again i point to ManSh00ters post. But now i shall go download Demigod from the internet!!!.... Through Impulse ofc! Yes i actualy own all the Stardock games... gasp!
Boycott them. Publicize your belief that their methods are unacceptable. Write letters to the management noting how their policies have resulted in you and your friends not buying it when otherwise you would. All of these are more effective than pirating it, which only proves them right.
Like that would work. I think your forgetting the human factor. Like ManSh00ter said
This sort of business practice is possible only because most of the gaming popu

The whole point is there shouldnt be any need for game companies to protect themself. There is no logic behind pirating games other then somebody not wanting to pay for other peoples work. Those people will always be there and you simply cant beat them. Luckly 99% of the people out there buy there games. So no need for DRM.

In europe we buy the game in USD getting converted to local currency. I can buy most games on Impulse for 40-50$ US. So clearely not in the euro zone? Compared to steam or GamersGate where €=$ so a games there cost like 40-50€ = some 60-70$

Do it matter? i mean how often do you play with more then 8 players in these kind of games? This aint Demigod where a fight take 30 min. Now im not sure if Elemental will use a WeGo or IgoUgo system but in general it just tend to drag out if there is to many players.

Kryo are you comparing that i go into a shop and shoplift to download something from the internet? Its not a valid comparison. Hypocrite? well maybe. But only in the game industry are you allowed to take your customer in the ass like most publishers do with these DRM schemes. For no good reason. There DRM is the main reason games get pirated. There has never been more pirating and never been so much DRM shouldnt it have been the otherway around with less pirating the more DRM? And no i dont t

As a respone to the_Monk and kryo. I do fully support and understand people who pirate games when it comes to extremly restrictive DRM. And please stop with those stupid comparisons of stealing a car. Havent people learned by now that interlectual property and physical propterty cant be compared 1 to 1.

Woca use the internet since i can see you have it at your disposal. Its been proven countless of times. And rootkits and spyware are just 1 issue. Activation limits are another. With some of the recent games come out using TAGES you cant even revoke a install with a uninstall. 3-5 installs thats it then you have to call or email some support department. I say no thanks. I rather avoid the trouble and just pirate the game instead. Sad for the devs but they should have pick
Whenever I come across a game with DRM like that, I just buy the game but never touch it and download a warez copy of it. Technically still illegal, but it solves the moral problems for me.
There is no moral problem with pirating a DRM game. Publisher/devs treat you like a criminal with online activation limits and monitoring rootkits etc. So you might aswell just pirate there game and laugh em in the face. I

If you don't have internet access don't buy it. That is easy and straight forward. I would like to see SC2 do the same too. If it stops pirates from using it I'm all for it. Well start with a easy language like Java or C# . Dont even attempt to learn C/C++ by yourself unless your extremly dedicated. If you decide on java i suggest http://www.amazon.com/Objects-First-Java-Practical-Introduction/dp/0136060862/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247936259&sr=8-1 I used it at my first

Its always nice if games can be modded. If it comes with a powerfull enough API anything should be possible. Might be a motivation to learn Python.
