Reply to Microsoft Visual C++ 2005/2008 Redistributable in WOM BETA Builds

I had this same problem with C++ 2005. Furthermore, it could not be deleted in Add/Delete programs. In my case, I used the MS Windows Install Clean Up program to delete C++ 2005, then reinstalled and all was OK. You can google Windows Install Clean Up and d/l from MS.
