Hey Stardock, could someone please tell me is it intended for the sovereign unit to be a combat unit, or be best used by staying safely at home? Will you someday add both combat and administrative/logistic skills so either path could be viable? I've watched you release a few patches now, and still can't tell where you're trying to go with this. I have no idea where you're trying to go with tactical combat, the different magic schools, dynasties, the game economy, Kingdom Vs. Emp

One thing I like about MoM over WoM is that there was never any doubt as to what you're supposed to do with your 'sovereign', whereas Elemental still hasn't quite figured out if you're supposed to use them as a hero, or keep them in a city, or what.
Think this is affecting Refined Housing as well.
I'm having this problem also. Even worse, I'm having a strange problem where when I move my sov alone or with his army I'll see the square light up where I told him to move, but before he completes his movement this square randomly changes to another square which could be anywhere on the map and starts heading there, making him impossible to move reliably, and grinding my most recent attempt to play this 'game' to a halt. Also, whenever he attacks anything on the strategic map, his mo
I could understand sexy mage gear... but armor is armor. It's supposed to cover, not reveal.
Any official, or unofficial word on this? I seem to be having the same problem in 1.07.
No. Save your money and wait until they finish the game. Buying now will just be frustrating. The underlying game mechanics are completely broken and retarded. It doesn't matter if it now runs at 60fps, it's still broken and lacking. You might enjoy the illusion that your playing a real game, but that will be shattered once you figure out the glaring holes in the game which you will in about 30 minutes. There's many who have already drank the $50 kool-aid who will tell you otherwise, but trus
Nevermind, figured it out. For anyone else, put the XML file in the Mods folder in the install directory. If there isn't one there then make it. Make sure you have use mods checked in the options menu of the game.
Thanks, for no more horseless games. Install instructions?
I'm not sure if this was mentioned before, but in my current game I have at least 2 spots where one resource has spawned in the same square as another. As far as I can tell this makes it impossible to select or improve one of them. In one spot, a fire shrine and gold mine share a square. The gold mine has the red exclamation mark over it, but I can only ever select the fire shrine, which is already built.
I think the Organized trait for Sovereigns is too important to ever not pick. I suppose if you planned on keeping your sov in a city past the first few turns you could live without it, but I don't see any other way to spend 10 points that has such a dramatic impact in the game, or makes your sov any more useful. It seems like the kind of thing a sovereign should be able to do anyway. Give it to all sovs free, and let us use points towards flavor traits that are interesting, but will not make
