I appreciate the openness with the community however I think you need to take a step back and finish the game first before you start tweaking it (or even discuss tweaking). It seems like you are still in beta mode when you most certainly are not. What I mean by this is the most important thing right now is prioritize above all else implementing promised features which are missing (multiplayer, etc) and then fixing features which aren't working. &nbs
That seems to have worked...thanks. After uninstalling and reinstalling the game started and I could see the intro movie but when that finished it simply went to a black screen and stayed there. I couldn't even get out of the game (alt-tab, ctrl-alt-delete) so I had to reboot. I started the game again and escaped out of the movie and it went to the main screen so it looks like it is working.
A little more info. I enabled debug logging in the settings file and there are a bunch of these lines in the file: [23:29: 8] Text FileArchive missing Label. File: .\GameInfo\AbilityDetectPhaseJumpModule.entity Label: entityType Line Number:1 Line Contents:AbilityDetectPhaseJumpModule [23:29: 8] Failed to convert '' to an enum value.
I just installed the game and am trying to launch it but it keeps crashing. As soon as I start the game a black screen comes up then I hear a sound and the cursor shows up on screen but nothing happens. I alt-tab out of the black screen and there is a window that says a mini dump file was created with its location. Any help on getting the game started would be appreaciated. My system works with all the other games I play which is alot. My system specs are: Vista 64 bit A
