Fixed, thanks.
Bugs should be reported in the bugs forum. But this will be fixed in the next patch.
I second the recommendation of King's Bounty. It's not an empire builder, but for lots of fun tactical combat and rpg leveling its a great time.
Fixed, thanks.
Fixed, thanks.
That's WaD. Its a dangerous world and AI players can die to monsters just like human players.
Fixed, thanks.
Fixed, thanks guys.
Fixed, thanks.
This is WaD (working as designed). The empire doesn't get Watermills, only kingdoms do. Conversely Empire players get Skath Pits. Skath Pits aren't quite as good (and they don't come as early), but they don't have the river requirement. Empire players are better at surviving in less ideal locations, Kingdom players can generally make better cities. You are right that we should do a better job of displaying that these improvements
I've gone through these. They are crashes but not out of memory issues. Some are using as little as 432 meg. Not that it keeps it from being a problem, we are focusing on crashes. Just don't be disappointed if you don't see a lot of OOM fixes in the next patch (and there are a lot of crash fixes instead).
Good catch, thanks Werewindlefr.
Good call, thanks Heavenfall.
I dont see this, neither does anyone here in the office. Is it intermittant? Is anyone else seeing this?
Yeah you are right, its only applying the bonus if its on the army leader. Let us check it out.
Sounds like a death spell. Why would gilden have it?
spoiler There is a tower, called the Dark Spire, in the Ruins of the Imperium wildland. It is a very tough area to get to and guarded by powerful elementals and demons. The spell is in that tower and available to any faction that reaches it. /spoiler
Is it possible that this just took a turn to update? I dont think the movement gets refreshed until the next turn.
He used Blood Curse to do it. Blood curse allows you to sacrifice your people to add to your hit points. It also disables your ability to heal (so if you want to get some life back you better kill more people). Looks like he has been killing a lot of people.
Regen adds to your healing on the strategic map. It gives +1 (+1 per life shard). You base regen is equal to your level. So the reason one of yours characters is 2 is because they are level 1 with regen. The other one is probably a level 2 unit. But Im switching it so regen also works in tactical combat.
Hey, it wouldn't be a proper forum unless people tore every detail to shreds and weighed every imaginable combination of them - before the game was even available in beta.
That's half the fun of being a gamer! :)
Actually, is it possible to create a faction with a unit that nobody else *can* have, as a unique faction trait? Hmmm, maybe by disguising it as a unit trait that only that faction can have from a unique tech? Are there unique techs?
If you want to talk about modding XML then lots of things can be done. But currently the only example of this in game is that Umber has Poison Vials as a designable item that is on
I like the concept of unique pre-designed units, but is there an incentive to build them instead of custom designed one? Is there a thing making them the "faction's favorite", aside from the fact that they're already there? Or are they just identical to custom-built units with the same build choices?
A player could build exactly the same unit if they wanted. I must admit as a designer I was really tempted to keep s
