Hi, I was curious if the game allows for a master list of known planets and their habitability ratings (for ease of selection for colonization)

Any ethical choices ever reward "good" behavior? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Regarding the random events that require a good/neutral/evil decision: are there event that reward making the "good" choice? It would seem bizarre and unrealistic to always be penalized for making ethical choices (and don't tell me that being 'good' is enough of a reward in itself! ;)

I'm confused and curious as well. I do NOT have internet access at home and am wondering how I will be able to update the game/add the bonus pack without a "live" connection to the internet unless I can archive and carry files home to my "play" computer. :notsure:

Hardcoded AI in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

So... since I missed the beta I was curious if there are obvious differences that can be perceived in the way that the different AI aliens play the game. Is any one race more prone to warfare or science as an end? Are any easier to get along with diplomatically? Are there pre-established biases created between the AIs so that an alliance with one reduces your diplomatic ratings towards another? etc. etc.

Twilight Imperium - sorry if already asked (OT) in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

One of the factors that made me very pleased/psyched when I first started reading blurbs about GC were the occasional ref's to Twilight Imperium - an ultra keen board game that attempts to emulate the same gameplay as MOO2 (to a certain extent). Anyone else here a fan of the board game? (sorry for the wildly off-topic question)

One of my biggest anticipations with the game is not simply playing it but tooling about with the customization aspects - adding events, techs, etc. etc. As a big fan of strategic board games with customizable elements, this has a lot of appeal to me.

Downloading straight into the game is a bogus notion for those in my situation: I have no internet access at home and have to download through my work account and transport patches and such on burned cds to my "play" computer.

Welcome another player burned by the searing disappointment of "playing" MOO3 and looking for something to pin those galactic aspirations to.
