You may want to reread page 57 of your manual ! The intelligence level descriptions ARE accurate. This is one of the first AI situations where the AI is as strong or stronger than in a multiplayer game. Many players have been greatly surprised by this AI and what it can do on each level. REMEMBER: Assumption is the Mother of ALL screw-ups !!! JIM

I added the 2nd shortcut with the cheat code so I can enter either one. When I first played my original game, I gave the AI players way too much power (Intelligence thru fool). So I ended up only getting 4 planets when the strongest AI player now controls about 75% of the map. I saved it and let it sit until I got the cheat shortcut installed. Now I can hold my own against him. All the later games I started were much more balanced so I don't use the cheat shortcut, just
