Just a quick update. I recieved another 2 copies today. One was LE and the other was a reg edition. The good news is customs did not assess any duty and tax on these. Everything worked out in the end. The LE box is very nice.

Yes I got a duty charge of $11 bucks and after opening the package I was sent the wrong edition. I ordered the LE but got the regular one. I will have to contact SD for help on this next week.

I just got my le in richmond bc as well.
To the op sorry but I totally disagree. Master of Magic was the type of game that hooked you in so much that the next thing you know its 4 hours later. The game was playable and stable right from the beginning and I experienced no ctd's. The game had so much atmosphere and was just fun. Special unique heroes, magic items, great graphics at the time. Unique factions and unique units for each faction with special abilities, and the magic spells were good. It was

Op I totally diagree in that there are too many civilization series. I am sorry but I will take what I can get in the 4 x genre or tbs strategy games. Quality games like this are few and far between and there are very few games of this type.
Hi Brad, I also wanted to add that the game is missing some of that fun factor/atmosphere like in the master of magic series. What I mean by that is please change the heroes to be more unique and memorable. For example a unique cool looks for each hero, different types of skills and abilities, and rare legendary heroes, artifact, relic weapons that are very rare. Revamped unique units and magic items. I think its a bit low but I am not surprised. I woud give the game a 6.5/10 after the 1.07 patch before that even lower so 4/10 is feasible. The good news is that SD is committed to the game so hopefully within the quarter we will have a much improved game.
Hi Brad, I am a long time fan of SD and your values. I know you truly care and I love the types of games you are involved with e.g 4x strat games and Sins. Yes this game is no where near ready and I had deja vu with Demigod and now Elemental. I appreciate your feedback and will continue to support SD as I know you are committed to support the game.
