Even though this is an old thread, I was really hoping someone could give me more information about this weapon/technology/event. I was playing, and had this technology unlocked, i went into the ship designer and put it on a design, then started adding cosmetics and my game crashed and that tech discovery was gone so im going to use cheatcodes to unlock it again but i have no clue what it is.

Im not sure about the rest of you, but I have quite enjoyed the quality GalCiv2 videos put out by GetDaved and Quil18, though they are few. So, I have considered making videos myself. There are not an abundance of good recordings with decent audio and commentary, and Im willing to give it a shot. Im slowly getting better at the game, Ive beaten it on "Tough." If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, let me know. Because I feel this would be a little bit of work, but could be pretty fun and wou

Im still not sure what the problem was, but after uninstalling and reinstalling about 6 times it just randomly started working. Yes i was using mods, and no i didnt delete them/disable them. it just started working again.
