Update: After completion of the Palace in Blackstead, it is now considered contiguous again. I tested it, and completing or removing the Palace from its queue removed the malus.

What's the procedure here? Will the devs acknowledge this post when they see it, or do we just post these up here on the assumption that they're all seen? I always feel more comfortable getting an acknowledgement that something is definitely a bug, and that's it in the queue.
Yes, I did. I didn't notice the problem until many turns after I took Fargan's Keep — I had a leader that I decided I didn't need for the moment and wanted to park in my city with the highest unrest. I also decided to test razing the Keep, and that fixed Blackstead too. It's definitely linked to Fargan's Keep. Thanks for the follow-up, Davrovana. In my current game I recently conquered Fargan's Keep from Gilden. I noticed after this that the second city I built, Blackstead, which was contiguous to my capital, Hagudst, had 37% unrest. Upon further examination, I discovered the penalty for non-contiguity was being applied. I tried to fix it by reloading the game, but that did nothing. I decided to use cheats to quickly connect Blackstead to Fargan's Keep. This solved the problem. The penalty went away. I'm providing
