Every few months, almost quarterly I come by and peak at the forums hoping to hear something about elemental, but rarely do I and happen to see this in the dreaded launcher of all places. I enjoyed the first two titles, hated Sorcerer King, Let's see how this goes. I await with bated breath.

I just noticed this, I started a game late last night and when I resumed it this morning I got notifications from all my ships that they can't survey now, I loaded the two auto saves and they don't have the module on it there either.
If you want to make a Crusader Kings type of game out of Elemental, I'm all in for it. I wasn't a fan of the Sorcerer King, it felt too rushed and over all unsatisfying. I enjoyed the first elemental and Fallen Enchantress I play the latter frequently and often check back to see if there's any news on that front.
I was disappointed when I saw Sins II, I'm enjoy GalCiv 4 for the moment, but Vicky 3 came out so that's going to take my attention. I keep coming back to this thread hoping there's something new about Elemental.
You can be down 5 food and you population continues to increase regardless of the food balance. It makes no sense Food's just in there to tank your approval is what it appears.
Why isn't food an accumulated resource like the strategic resources are? It causes too many problems and makes no sense why their isn't food generation on the colony center or the planet that we start on, why are we going to space if we can't feed ourselves?
