With champions of Storm installed i can see the lizardmen version of juggernauts and werewolves and most enemy hereoes' graphics properly - though many items still have no inventory icon graphic, and a lot of them still can't be equipped by anyone (not sure why this is as i have the Black Market Bazaar version compatible with CoS installed, and the compatibility mod for BMb for your mod too, and have made sure to follow all the install instructions on moving folders and files ab
On the download page for the Children of Storm mod it says it's not compatible with the Leader pack DLC. Is that still the case? Or does it work with it now? (edit - i see there's an option to delete the existing sovereigns that you don't have to do - is that all it means? will it work fine?)
I have the Children of Storm compatibility mod files installed, but not Children of Storm itself. I did install Black Market Bazaar and Champion Bonanaza and the compatibility file mods for them too, but didn't realise from your previous replies that i needed to install the Children of Storm mod too to play your mod - i thought from the user guide that that was optional Is it possible to install neither the CoS compatibility files nor CoS itself and then not get the
And here's what i was talking about with the vulnerability to fire - if you go to all their details and put the mouse over 'R%fire' it says "Reduces fire damage by this percent' when it should say "increases fire damage by this percent" - i don't know if this means it is reducing fire damage to them by that much - it certainly seems that way to me - that when fighting creatures that it says are vulnerable to fire, they actually take less damage from it [img]http://
Ok fair enough - thanks very much for the info and replies. I keep getting this on my sovereign's army - a grey circle with a red cross comes up and he can't move for 2 turns. When i click on him and look at details i can't see any enchantments or spells. Do you have any idea what this is? An enemy spell or something? Is there any spell i can cast to dispell it? (EDIT - nm - found out from casting it myself eventually that it's the water spell Freeze) </p
I like how you brought in so many Lords of Magic spells in the mod btw - very nice
yeah that's weird - on the Slag and Cotta it said 'Reduces damage from fire by this amount' and it resisted a flame dart. On Cota similar for air/lightning - it said his 'vulnerability to air' 'reduces damage by this amount' and he resisted a Call Lightning I was wrong it's not all creatures though - on most of them it's right. And on my own characters i checked and their resistances are right too. It's just a minority of creatures.
The resistances and vulnerabilities are all reversed - when you look at e.g a Slag and it says its vulnerable to fire, underneath it says '-50 reduction to damage from fire' - so creatures that are meant to be vulnerable to something are actually resistant to it and vice versa. Same with Cnotta's vulnerability to lightning and most other vulnerabilities and resistances.
Ok i think - not sure - that i have that done - but maybe i've done something wrong as some characters and creatures show up as partly or mostly invisible even with particle effects and outlines turned on. Juggernauts are invisible other than their chains , harnesses, shields and weapons for instance. Though i can see Escaped Juggernauts and some named juggernauts fine, so don't understand why.
Also it says in the post on that link "move the Gfx and .str files around as indicated in installation" but i don't see any readme files or anything else when extracting saying where to move files to for the Champion Bonanza, Black market Bazaar or Children of Storm mods (i don't have CoS installed so do i really need the CoS compatibility mod?) For the main mod i copied and replaced the NO folder files to the folder it specified in the installation guide
I did install those mods and try to follow all the instructions on copying and replacing files. The one thing i'm confused about is, when i install to the MyDocuments/Mygames/Legendary Heroes/Mods folder, do i just use 'extract here' for each of them , or do i use extract to a folder with mod download name for each? I have all DLC The AI eventually moves in most cases but it can't take 5 minutes or more for some characters. When on
when i attack enemy towns it seems to take several minutes for enemy characters to take an action sometimes
yeah it destroyed the structure and turned it to a an unbuilt shard of the type the spell was meant to turn it too - i'd count that as a success though - the spell basically works anyway
Life Paramountcy doesn't seem to work (maybe because i'm casting it on shards upgraded to shrines? don't know - it uses up the mana but doesn't change the shard/shrine type) Edity - did work, but the turn after i'd cast it
What do all the halfdrake camps and stuff do? Do they add those creatures to the garrison or what? Or are they Empire only?
I really like this mod and thanks for making it. Some minor bugs with it though. Some items that aren't equippable or don't work. The Elemental Wand does not work for ranged attacks. The Wave Cresting Boots (i forget their name) are not equippable by any hero as far as i can see (are they meant to be mage only or something?). Neither are the Practice Buckler or the Armbands of Integrity.
How do you edit item and unit stats?

How do you either a) make heroes able to be renamed or b) if that's impossible , make new heroes? Can anyone tell me please, or link me to a page that tells you this?
I moved it to whatever folder it said to in the install instructions - i forget what folder that was now
Actually did get it to work eventually by first clicking on priest, then using the mouse wheel to scroll down and ranger and summoner were there, so user error on my part i guess There are no pictures for the summoner, priest or ranger path choices - just an empty box with the class name, but that's a minor issue
