When did we lose side-scrolling? in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

I think I've only noticed it since I went to 1.1, but I put the game down for a little while until it got patched again, and now I have no side-scrolling. :(

Was just about to post about the mining specialization myself but found this instead, it's definitely an issue but I wasn't too worried while it was still a beta. However it looks like it made it into the 1.0 so...now it's a big deal, much frustration.

Just saw the AI build my super sensor heavy ship created in an earlier game and start parading it around their borders. Also it was so early in the game that if it hadn't been rushed then it was definitely the first thing they built out of their shipyard.

I'm up to 111/40 population on my homeworld, and I've gone over on my other planets aswell. Surely at some point I should be unable to use the assembly project?

Also I just noticed that when upgrading ships it doesn't take into account the amount of strategic resources you'd be freeing up by doing so. For example: I have a ship that requires 2 Durantium, but just acquired an extra 2 Durantium and so wish to upgrade my ship to the new design which requires 4 Durantium. The game thinks I don't have enough Durantium to upgrade to that design, so I'm forced to decommission the ship and then rebuild it instead.

Also the flavour text when you research Xeno Biology says something about how alien bacteria and viruses affect Altaria-based lifeforms when playing as Drengin.

I checked a few other races and it's looking like it's only the Drengin, which is weird because the text was identical across each one. Just got copy and pasted wrong I suppose.

Currently playing the Beta 6 opt in patch. The Drengin tech tree names for specializations under Defensive Focus are: Information Systems Hardening - Immune to Planetary Bombardment Adaptive Vaccinations - Immune to Information Warfare Orbital Defence Platform - Immune to Biological Warfare Haven't checked if it's only the Drengin or not.
