First, let me say that I really like the game so far overall. I really like the art style and the music is great. I think the game is simple in its mechanics (that's a GOOD thing) but still has depth. I also really like the crafting system. I will admit that I was kind of worried that the crafting system was going to feel like busy work but I think it works very well and I already enjoy finding crafting materials to see what I can make next - great mechanic. I also think t

Ok cool, it's not just me then. I was starting to wonder if I had some fundamental misunderstanding of the game or something...

I'm playing the Tarth map and have only really been able to find one additional city building location - and I have explored a decent amount of the map. Just how rare are they supposed to be exactly? Do I need to kick some neutrals off viable land for them to show up? Am I missing something?

Here's something I would like to see in the tactical battles. Often in these sorts of games, a unit can move X number of spaces and then shoot or attack. Usually, once the attack happens that unit's turn has ended for the round - even if they have movement points remaining. And that's probably how it should work for most units. BUT! Skirmishing-type units are often poorly represented in tactical battle systems for just that reason. So what if there were some few un

Oh wow, October 2? I feel like a bit of a piler-on. I had no idea the game was so close to early access when I joined the founders yesterday. I do like the idea of deviating from the tree system of leveling up heroes. I always enjoyed the old fashioned, semi-random method of leveling in Heroes of Might and Magic and Age of Wonders Shadow Magic. As for modern systems, I really like the Age of Wonders 3 system for heroes. It gives the player a lot of choice in how to respond to wh

Thanks for the tip. I gave it a whirl on my ipad and for whatever reason it opened right up. This game looks very promising!

Well, despite not being a huge fan of Legendary Heroes, I have just become a founder for E2015. Let me tell you why: 1. Stardock does good work and stands by its products and, more importantly, it's customers. 2. While I think LH was flawed, the foundation was there. While not my favorite fantasy 4x game, LH is still one of the best ever made. 3. I think the developers have learned a lot from making LH and I am excited to see

Hmmm thanks guys. I can already see some things I was doing wrong. Apparently not expanding fast enough for one thing. I also usually take the Mage path with my sovereign with a race that is evidently not well suited for it (Defender or commander might be better?). I am building too many buildings and not enough units. Thinking about it more I don't think I'm getting overwhelmed in terms of unit quality. Yithril is just sending more cheap units at me than I can defend ag

Unfortunately I seem to be getting overwhelmed in terms of both quality and quality. I am not spamming pioneers. Should I be? I tend to be a builder and defensive type player in 4x games which is why the Ironeers appealed to me. Are there any race-specific tips/oddities I might be missing? I'm really enjoying the game but I can't remember having so much trouble with a particular faction in other similar games in the past.

I am no stranger to the TBS 4X genre. In fact, it's one of my favorite genres. I have been playing games as the Gilden default race. The Yithril are kicking my butt left, right and center whenever they are on the map. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, they always have far more troops than I could ever hope to support, pretty early in the game too. What's the strategy against them? Just wipe them out as soon as you find them? I'm only playing on normal/medium
