Way to much stuff to list here, but yes, a few new particles, model improvements, lots of strings, balancing, DOM and ROM were both buffed, errors that only people wit the 3rd eye actually found. http://www.moddb.com/mods/sacrifice-of-angels-2/images for a lot of new stuff. Trying for the weekend oh, and Just Jim is working on customizing all of our maps.
Oh great, now they a

Its so powerful it would even be worth waiting for mid game.
I've been running this thru my head, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet..... One could make the argument the FED had tractor beams as far back as TOS.... but the same argument could be made about Romulan Cloaks, or Borg Cutting Beams. But using that same argu

It is some utilitarian morality.
I thin the biggest argument would be "Does the ends justify the means" argument..... yes, the Golden Path was meant to save Humanity,... but at what cost? I can sit and argue this with myself until I'm blue in the
In Dune book 4, the line between good and bad is somewhat blurred. Is Leto the God-Emperor a good worm-guy, or is he evil? I cannot tell, this book might also fall in this category.
I'm a huge Dune fan, and that is an excellent question... I would love to debate this more, but it would give the book away... let's just say Leto I
The problem with telling you books where the bad guys win is that, unless the bad guy is also the protagonist, you're ruining the ending of the book.
I can think of a few Anti-hero books that don't really have "happy" endings for our anti-hero, so, IMO, it balances out... [e digicons][/e]

EDIT: I see now, it's the beta for the game. Damn, I didn't think they were going to do any more patches for the core game. Curious.
I think the beta is a patch for Stellar Phenom. Another easy way is to a super fast Titan is to just make a custom map in Galaxy Forge and give yourself a Titan, or a ton of $$$ and resources, and 4 military labs. then it just takes a few minutes game time to research and build one. I would still consider it cheating, but you don't need a cheat code to do it. Plus if you're making a custom map, you can also design the opposition to whatever you feel like experimenting your titan against.

It may be a side effect of loading a game that was saved with a different version of the string file. I've not replicated the problem when the number of strings stays the same (between saving and loading a game).
Yeah, I thought as much.... I'm playing a 1 on 4 game right now as the Borg.... even at 4 against me, I'm way OP and there's no way I can lose now, so I should just quit the at this point. I downloaded SoA2.0.6.8 last night and I'm playing one of the SoA Random maps... and so far it's been awesome. Couple of nice surprises I won't bother to mention and spoil for you all... One small glitch, when you wave the mouse over the upgrades button, the Borg Uni-Complex regeneration feature shows up as a second Elite Assimilation. I'm also not sure if the Borg Jump Inhibitors are working right... I'm not getting any kind of radius of effect.&n
