I will occasionally use camera rotation on tactical maps when units are obscured by buildings or fixtures making them difficult to find, target or activate. I would give up the ability if confident I could manipulate all units in every battle successfully without it.

Except that 100% of any positive number is itself, so subtracting a number from itself would bring you to zero. Then 50% of zero is still zero, so you should stay at zero rather than go negative, yes!?

One trick I've learned facing a Ythril attack on my cities: On city tactical maps with single tile choke points - just sit still! Don't advance towards the enemy at all. I am fairly new to this game, which is my first 4x game, so please bear with me. I'm on my fourth game now, playing the 1.3 version currently, and ran into the Dark Sorcerer for the first time. Or, more accurately, he ran into me. On a somewhat difficult medium map I was struggling to find crystal when I went around a corner of the map and found a spot with two crags nearby. I managed to settle a city there just as Magnar put an outpost near the farthest crag.</p
