Unable to create new Fences in Fences Stardock Forums

I didn't see any window updates but I suddenly cannot create any new fences. When I draw a rectangle, the area darkens, then disappears. A right click on the desktop does show Fences configuration, but it might be helpful to add submenus such as Create new fence. Am running on windows 10, Fences version 3.0.8.1. What can I please do? Uninstall, reinstall? Thanks, George
