Sounds interesting. Hopefully unique races also means some cool stuff we rarely see otherwise in fantasy games - i m thinking skaven/ratmen or an insectoid race for example. or something other genuinely cool and interesting other than the genre standards (humans, elves, dwarves, orcs/goblins, lizard/dragonmen, undead, hobbits etc. ) Will the way battles work also be changed ? i d never thought i d write the following but between the upcomming Age of Wonders III (which looks absolutely amazing), the third fantasy strategy game you are already working on, Sovereignity (from the Panzer Corps-which was awesome- studio), Warlock 2 (warlock 1 was pretty fun though i prefered Legendary Heroes - i know for many it was the other way around though) and Endless Legends (personally i thought Endless Space was really meh and dont expect much from this other than fancy graphics

the way i see it: 10/10 = Master of Magic, Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic and Fall from Heaven with Modmods 9/10 = Fall from Heaven pure 8/10 = Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes 7/10 = Warlock: Master of the Arcane ( 7.5 with dremer DLC for some challenge!) i ve suggested something similar before and totaly agree. imho it would go a long way if every different race had at least a few unique armor pieces ... not every leather/chain/plate gloves/greaves/helm has to be unique but if at least the more visible pieces (chest armor, helmets mostly ) were different that d be a great start ! and imagine all the possibilities you d have for customizing your own factions/troops by being able to chose from all different armor types ! <p

as far as i m concernd warriors are the best of the melee champions. most of their talents are usefull and warriors with the right gear will be usefull in early, middle and late game unless you have unrealistic expectations (soloing entire armies etc.) of them. they may not be perfect but they are far better off than every other class except obviously mages. assassins are okay early & mid game too. what i dislike about assasins is that roughly half their talent tree is useless -

i too want all the OP wants BUT.... i d rather see it bundled in a proper expansion. as far as DLC is concered i prefer if they sticked to quest packs and cosmetical stuff. something i really want and secretly hoped the loot pack to be (it wasnt) would be more cosmetical options for your troops - champions already have enough gear but its kinda boring that all troops look the same in different colors. why not make it so that there s at least 2-5 different looking armor

sorry if this has been already asked/answered somewhere else and i missed it but i m looking for the following: i d love a mod that increases the number of soldiers in a unit ONLY IN LOOKS: what i mean is that a regular unit with 3 soldiers would still be 3 soldier for the purpose of attack/defense/hitpoints etc. but look as if it had 6 soldiers. 4 soldiers would look as if they were 8, 5 = 10 and 6 = 12.
