I feel those are less important, the most important is the location of your starting position, if your position is bad, you can only settle very limited "good spots". won against 4 expert AI lately just because i had a very good starting position, a few 4/3/2, or 3/3/3 not too far away from the capital city and some farms nearby. Expand early on is more important than having some nice spells in your spell book which u might not have enough mana to cast.

There are still so many issues with the game even the game has been released for so long, instead of fixing bugs, you are creating more "content" to make money. Be professional, fix the bugs 1st, especially those simple ones. 1) razed outpost, border remains, and border of nearby cities doesnt reclaim the boundary. 2) End turn take forever, click end turn or pressing enter does not help, during the freeze, still can save game, loading the game wont help, end turn again will ju

after i capture the village, its has less than 200 population.
i got a village thats level 52, taken from a computer player that only has 1 city(never expand), i saw its score(top right corner), so much higher than mine, i have like 10 cities, but still the AI can double my score with just 1 city. so i decided to take over and noticed its level 52, perhaps it level up every season ?
