they can start above lvl 2 once you have some building that do that and/or if you give them the right perks. i use them as defenders, what they do quite well and as commanders (to give bonusses to the whole army). i have not tried to use them as the other classes yet. i never use more than 2 of them in a full army stack, cause as you said in the beginning (before they level up a few times) they are quite fragile. but the more levels they get, the more powerful

i don't have an assassin that high a level. but it could be because safegames don't get patched. so if you started the game before the fix, and just loaded it after patching to the version in which it was fixed, then it still won't be fixed in your safegame. you have to create a new game to make it work.

i watched some let's plays now from some different people and everyone seems to always research civics first. i go restoration first for the workshop. and then civics. i always wonderd why u guys go civics before restoration, besides of using a wealthy sovereign (for rushing stuff) this does not seem to make sense for me. do all of you do that? maybe someone can explain to me why?

what azunai want's to say, is that you only need to choose amarian blood/pariden and then you will get it automaticly. you do not need to select an additional trait.

I mostly played custom factions so far but i startet to roll a 10sided dice sometimes and then pick one of the standard factions. And i'm glad i did because they all feel different and interesting to play. So i was wondering do You have a favorite faction? And what makes it special in your eyes?

yeah i think bows sometimes need the traits because of the armor most enemies will have. esp. if you did not give the archer trait to your faction to get the ram horn (50%ignore armor) bow. i mostly go for all the inititiative i can get and then fill up with dodge on all my ranged units though, no matter if they are bow or magic damage. i then prioritize the enemies caster and ranged units which i'll mostly kill before they had their turn und then just have two or three melee tank

[/quote] that is not true, good leveled mages can kill whole enemy armies in 1or two turns, they can oneshot world bosses, and if you play on very high difficulty like "insane"

i think that binding is fine. you get 3 free units (plus free replacements if they die) per shard (1xaltar, 1xshrine, 1xtempel) and if you play a long game on a big map where you have like 20ish shards in the end that are like 60 free units. i don't have found much use for the earth and fire ones yet, but that does not mean that there isn't one and the others are quite good imo.

in my opinion it is worth it too. i have played it for about 20 hours now and i like it very much sofar. i too think that fallen enchantress is a great game and that legendary heroes has improved it even more. but you asked if it is much different from fallen enchantress and i don't think so. it is still the same game, the same feeling, the same world, the same lore/fluff, just the mechanics are more refined (but i think that is a good thing, since i liked
