Would I miss out on anything if I just got the legendary heroes expansion w/o the regular game?

Hey, I just read about this game and it seems pretty cool but I just have a question. Is there a point in buying the regular fallen enchantress for 29.99? Or should I just go for the Fallen Enchantress Legendary heroes for 39.99?
