This has happened on numerous quests. and I don't remember their names. but I often remember them from earlier playthroughs, where they where finishable. And sometimes they are finishable in later playthroughs. so its not a specific quest, but rather a bug that is affecting the continuation of quests after a battle. Sometimes reloading the autosave right before the battle helps. and sometimes it doesn't.

Iv'e gotten quite a few unfinishable, quests over many playtroughs, on different versions of the game. It happens when a quest needs you to kill some monsters and then continue the quest on the same tile. The quest says I have to defeat the monsters even though I have already done so and the tile it was on is empty. Reloading an earlier save does not fix the problem.
