I can't add non-armor equipment to units until that equipment has been research, so that type of gear can only be added to brand new units. I guess wearing a belt requires special barracks-only training that can't be learned in the field. Some of my units also won't upgrade their armor at all, such as the aforementioned archers. Level 4 is a paltry amount of health relative to level 10 or even 14 like my troops are at right now, so I'm looking at taking a massive hit to health

I'm looking at preparing an army for some dragon hunting. Given their ability to one-shot entire formations in a single go, a cape with 50% fire resistance and high armor are an absolute must. So I'll just upgrade those militia members I've been keeping alive all game long with... oh, I can't. I don't have the trait for plate mail, I can't upgrade their non-armor equipment for more initiative to offset the plate mail even if I could get it, and hey my archers can't
Crysis has a 64-bit executable that comes with the game and the editor itself can ONLY be run on a 64-bit OS. It looks like Crysis 2 will follow this pattern. The Source engine was likewise released in 64-bit shortly before HL2:Ep1's release and you can now run any HL2 game, even Lost Coast, in 64-bit.
