believe it or not I had the same problem with win 10 when I first upgraded. But along with the icon problem I had display flashing and could not pin icons to start menu. Ok enough said about I did however uninstalled Win 10 upgrade and got a new upgrade. Same thing happened again and could not believe it. Finally I said enough with the upgrade and did a full clean install of Win 10 and I backed up my old drivers from Win 7 and did not allow Win 10 to install drivers I installed them myself. N

I agree with RedneckDude as my DX which I bought though many years ago and it works just fine and all gadgets and widgets from long ago like year 2000 still work with no problem. I have Win 7 and Win 10 and both OS's do not have any problem running DX and widgets and gadgets that are scripted. I even went as far as downloading from a third party the trial version of DX just as an experiment and that to works in both OS's.

Doubird Desktopx 3.5 is the last working version I believe. Also you still can download 3.5 outside of Stardock which might solve your problem as I think you might have a bad version of Desktopx. Plus if your version is working try changing the compatibility of the gadget or widget to run in Win 7. You mentioned you made them in XP so they might be trying to start in XP so try changing the mode to Win 7. This I know for sure if you have Win 10 and a gadget or widget doesn't work chan

Problem solved. Hankers worked on it for me after I renamed it 3 times but after Hankers pushed the pic through it still did not change for awhile. Strange thing though, I tried different browsers and the correct pic was good with Firefox and Chrome. IE 11 and Opera were showing the old preview. After Hankers did his thing about 6hrs later IE and Opera got caught up to speed. I truly think and I know it was not WC at fault at all and it was indeed the net. hey lightstar. wow I thought I was the only one with this problem. it is a weird thing and I haven't had this problem before but if this time doesn't work rename the pic then do I have to reupload my skin? Also my guess was a browser problem as well and did the same as you but again after the second try it did not change. I tried it a 3rd time about an hour ago but I have to wait and see what happens and I will let you all know if it works. thanks a lot for everything

I am trying to reach someone who can help me with my skin or point me in the right direction to someone who can help. my skin is LCARS REFIT and i just updated it on 9/9 and it posted properly except the preview picture was not updated. I tried editing 2 times now with the new preview picture for LCARS REFIT but as it gets posted it still remains the old preview picture. So anyway i hope i am making sense because my skin has the wrong preview picture as i have tried twice

hello island dog its me cghaveman and thankyou alot for putting my skin on your forum it was my pleasure to make this lcars refit and i really worked hard on this to get as close to an lcars as possible but its really not easy to make one. i really want to thank everyone who downloads lcard refit and has fun with this and dont forget to comment on wincustomize i will answer your comments. i was alittle surprised to see my lcars on google but its cool. please everyone enjoy and remember withou
