I concur! After months of trying to use Windows 11 taskbar is forced collapsed taskbar buttons I was looking at Stardock to see if the old Objectbar was still maintained. Didn't find that, but I'm glad Start11 existed. However, seeing Objectbar revived would be nice to see.
I purchased Start11 via steam and I'm currently on version 1.31. I see that 1.36 is available but it'd not being delivered to Steam. How can I get my Steam installation of Start11 up to date?

Oooh! So I think I might have found the last piece of the puzzle. At one point I right clicked on one of the links and use the Change Icon button - picking the same button it had. Then I noticed after reboot it had updated. I then tried via the console to touch all the *.lnk files in the Start Menu folder - and one by one they came back! <img

Still not sure how to rebuild icon cache on Win10 - appear to have changes since previous versions. Just to clarify though - it's only the Start menu that display blank icons - the rest if fine. When I open the folder containing the start menu shortcuts they are all correct.

Right - I think I had IP installed while I had Win8. Simply to change the icon of one or two file formats. I uninstalled IP. Rebooted. Opened Regedit, backed up that key and deleted it. Rebooted. Still white icons in the start menu. (Not anywhere else though.) Might the icon cache need rebuilding? And how do you do that in Win10 without IP? (Searches for rebuilding icon cache tend to point back to IP...)

ah! I digged into an old backup I had. found CurrentTheme.ini tabsAlign was set to 1 I then opened the CurrentTheme for my current OD2 and found tabsAlign=0 After setting tabsAlign=1 and restarting OD I now have my tabs aligned to the left again. :)

I'd like to find a small free and simple utility that adds a little weather icon in the system tray. (Preferable with customizable icons as I'd like to match the icons up with the simple plain white icons of Win7.) Anyone knows of such an utility? I search around and only stumble upon desktop gadgets - or all too complex, bloated non-free utilities.
Isn't Support where you address concerns for issues/use of programs?

I do use Notepad++ But I still miss ObjectEdit at times. It was small and nimble.
