If I buy the map pack on Steam, can I then activate it on the version from Stardock's site, like with the base game?

(ie the map pack, so far) I've bought the game on Steam but am considering using the drm free version, and would like to know whether I can get the map pack on steam and include it if I do switch, or if I need to decide now.
