After updating the game to the latest version, I found the problem appeared to be solved: switching 'edge scroll' on in options menu would lock mouse in one monitor. well, then an option to switch on/off could be quite handy. Usually I run the game in fullscreen mode, so moving mouse to another screen breaks edge scrolling...
At the moment if a second monitor is connected, mouse cursor can be moved to the other screen causing problems. Though this can be fixed by some external tools, I think it could be better to implement this in the game? Thanks!

Since 1.4 beta patch, a dark shade area will appear on screen each time I open and then close option menu. And it will disappear if I repeat. This issue does not exist prior to 1.4 patch and it is very annoying that I have to stop playing the game and wait for new patch. Unfortunately it is still there in 1.5 beta. hope this problem can be fixed soon. Thx.
I got the same problem. Opening option menu seems to turn it on and off. Other people might have not yet noticed it.

Game starts using full CPU speed, however after a few turns (or 'seasons' in game) CPU speed will drop significantly and enter some kind of 'power saving' mode. And it will never go up again. As a result the game runs slowly and everything sucks... I have an intel i5-2410 CPU and I am pretty sure it is because of turbo boost, adjusting CPU speed when needed, or CPU temperature is high. The strange thing is, why it can't go back to full speed any more? I
