I couldn't get Deskscapes to work with this 24H2 update preview. Start11 2.08 also took an inordinately long time to start working after a reboot, so there might also be problems brewing there as well. I'm currently using the beta version 11.01. I would like the random selection feature to keep track of the wallpapers it has selected so that it doesn't select that wallpaper again until Deskscapes has used all of the wallpapers in a Playlist. Right now I usually see the same wallpaper two or three times during a computing session. I have the timer set to show a new wallpaper every minute so there is no reason to show the same wallpaper a few minutes apart. My Playlist

Hi all, I've downloaded Start11_1.4-j279-Setup for use with KB5022913. So far the only issue I have is with the Taskbar 'Auto-Hide' option. When this option is active the secondary pop-up systray is mainly hidden behind the Taskbar. When the Taskbar pops up, the secondary Systray doesn't move up with the Taskbar. Tried the purge and re-install. Didn't work. There are too many conflicts with the latest Windows 11 release preview, (Update Stack Package - (Version 1023.201.1012.0)). I have decided to remove Start11 v1.39. If a new beta comes along I'll test it. I've heard that the next Windows 11 feature update will be in March sometime. Given this, I would hope that the Devs have been tracking the preview changes rather than waiting for the update to drop before updating Start11.

Windows Release Preview went to 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1343) yesterday. Start11 Version 1.39 The Taskbar task tray is now broken when Start11 V1.39 is set to "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar", in that the task tray is no longer visible. Here's an update. I recently updated Start11 to V1.38beta. I also run Fences V4 along with Deskscapes 11beta. Since updating to Start11 V1.38beta I have had no flashing screens upon wallpaper changes. That's none, nada not a one. I don't know how Start11 and Deskscapes interact; just that, Deskscapes 11beta seems more stable when using Start11 v1.38beta. Cheers.

Just a note... Object Desktop would not show the 1.37 Beta download. I had to go to my Product page to get 1.37 Beta. Object Desktop now wants to replace 1.37 Beta with 1.37 Beta. I have seen this behaviour before with version 1.36. Cheers.

This is an update on my testing that was mentioned previously. It has been 7 days since I made the change I mentioned above. During this time I've had only one wallpaper change flickering gitch occurance. My AMD Adrenalin program has maintained its integrity and I have updated some Alienware drivers via the Alienware Update program. Windows Update no longer updates my drivers. I still think that there is a problem with Deskscapes 11 that was exacerbated by the AMD driver issue

Yup, I've seen that. It doesn't seem to work as I expect it to work. Deskscapes 11 seems to try and catch up with a list of wallpapers it was going to display instead of just restarting the timer and displaying the next random wallpaper. That's the behaviour that I see anyway. Cheers.

A complimentary option to this would be an option to 'pause Deskscapes 11 when an App is in fullscreen mode'. There is no reason to change wallpapers when you don't see the Windows Desktop. Cheers.

I would like an option that would pause Deskscapes 11 when Windows 11 powers off my monitor. I have Windows 11 set to power off my monitor after 20 minutes. This is my idle state when my computer will run science research programs. I would like Deskscapes 11 to resume when the user, me, continues using the computer. Deskscapes 11 should monitor the computer power state settings and act accordingly. Cheers.

Hi, I was keeping my AMD drivers updated regularly as well. If you haven't made the change that I have, you should check your windows Update history, the drivers section, to see if there are any updates there. On day two of my test. No problems so far. I should note that my computer is running 24/7 with the monitor turned off after 20 minutes. I run research science programs when my computer is idle. Cheers.

This info may be of no consequence but, I had an issue with my AMD drivers for my video card. After installing the driver update from AMD I noticed that, after a period of time, the Adrenalin software home page would stop showing driver version info among other things. AMD suggested that, possibly, Windows Update was updating the drivers and interfering with the Adrenalin software. One of their suggestions, which I'm now testing , is to

I too have reported this issue with Deskscapes11. I found that Restarting Explorer from my Start11 Taskbar options page will solve the problem all-be-it temporarily. A Windows restart will also temporarily fix this. Cheers.
