Apparently, I have been away longer than I realized and this is going to sound like a total n00b question, but what happened to MyColors? At on time MyColors had TONS of themes that presented cars, sports and colleges, among other things. I had been waiting quite a while for Stardock to make a theme for the University of Oklahoma (there already is/was one for Oklahoma State University) and I attempted to pull up the MyColors website and all I find is a handful of themes and not the plet

Thanks Shirley! While I would love to renew right now it isn't possible, but once some things have turneed around, that's one of the things that I'm anticipating greatly. Yes, as I understood it, when your subscription expired you weould able to access everything that you had installed up to the time your subscription expired. That means no new updates, but you could still access your old updates. I really wish that you could just download the program and then install from an .exe file. It would make doing any backup or reinstall of those files so much easier.

My sub expired back in March. Last night I was trying out this customization suite called 'Seven Transformation Pack 1.0'. Anyway, didn't like how it slowed my system down. So I unistalled it, and then tried to reapply Windowblinds 6.3 and it didn't work. Now that the sub has expired, ODNT won't let me reinstall. How do I reinstall WB 6.3? Do I do it through ODNT or Impulse? Your help is much appreciated.

The biggest thing that held me back from Linux was customizability (is that a word? Oh well.), but I recently found you [I]can[/I] customize Linux! So I'm now running dual boot. If I find enough software to duplicate various Windoz(R) apps, we may end up using Windows for solely for games. For me it started with Windows 95. In nosing around that OS I found out that I could change things like fonts, colors, sounds, wallpapers, etc. That was when the custo bug bit. From do-it-yourself, I moved on to Desktop Architect and fell in love with desktop themes. One late evening while looking for a new wallpaper to slap on my desktop, a link led me here to the Wallpaper gallery. After snagging a few cool walls, I explored the rest of the site, and as they say, the rest is history. HAD

You could also take your wallpaper and in an image editor select and copy the portion you want to be clickable, use IconDeveloper and turn that small image clip into an icon, then place it on the desktop over the matching portion in the wallpaper. Voila (or is that Viola?) you have your clickable wallpaper. A lot of work I know, but it gives you an alternative.
