I'd recommend not to and move on. You have some great stuff going, stick to it. WoM flopped, leave it behind. So much effort put into repairing your reputation after it, I'd hate to see it go to waste.
BabbyLuring
FFffff... TAKE MY MONEY!!! Now if we could only get hotseat or any other kind of multiplayer I have 3 more friends that would jump on this game
Quoting BabbyLuring, reply 12To be fair, the title made it seem like there where more new stuff coming and people got excited which is understandable, though entirely our own fault and not Stardocks in anyway for us making the assumptions It's called 'advertising'. The concept demands making the item you are selling appear more than what it is.
For sure,
Would love to see more PC titles from this studio
To be fair, the title made it seem like there where more new stuff coming and people got excited which is understandable, though entirely our own fault and not Stardocks in anyway for us making the assumptions =)
Sounds tricky. I'm not pro gamer so I wouldn't know what to tell you or report back, what I will say is good luck =) Also, make skelies a trainable unit ! XD I want skelie army!
Shoot. I also thought this was an announcement for more DLC. Kinda disappointed (though that's my own fault naturally :)). I agree with the rest, if your going to set up DLC reminders like this, you should probably include some sort of discount. I imagine those of us who wanted to buy these at the current price already have, but what do I know? Maybe a bunch of people bought it because of this post =) I'd also like to agree with the posts above regarding the con
Loving the changes. And can't wait to get me some war boar mounts =D I'm curious though, any chance of us getting a unique mount pen? Instead of stables or warg pen, maybe one that gives war boars or lizard mounts (at a decreased rate naturally). Maybe another resource that allows you to produce more rare gear for your soldiers. Don't get me wrong, I love the changes to the heroes and making them feel more epic, but I'd love to be able to get an epic army
Well all I got from this OP was dripping news that Steam and the Game are PRETTY AWESOME! LMAO You gotta love these 2 hour players that gotta run to the forums to give THEIR 2 cents before nobody cares anymore. lol Well with that kind of review nobody cares pretty QUICKLY. lol Sink this thread to the depths of hell pretty quickly please and let's have some REAL REVIEWS up here. Thanx. :_)
That was pretty unc
So, to get this thread back on topic, what's your opinions about the Beta? I haven't got the time to try it myself, so I'm just lurking the forums trying to get a grasp on what everyone else thinks.
It's pretty cool. It has a lot of improvements to battle - it's more intense and tactical with the swarm mechanism and the weapon abilities. Placement and movement speed become better. The rush abil
LH seems just like an expansion, for which you would pay somewhat less than the original in other games (eg civ). That's exactly the case here assuming you already own the original game. Otherwise consider it as buying the original game + expansion. I guess it depends on if you see it as a patch or an expansion. I think it's got too much new stuff in it to be called a patch, so I disagree with a few people in this thread calling
Should say on the hero what race he belongs too =)
Tried it an looove it! A few improvements could be made that have already been suggested by a lot of the forum users. Particularly the one where you make settlements cost population and outpost cost gold. The undead models look beautiful! You should include an undead faction! The faction abilities are great and diverse, really enjoying it
I think the upgrade options are fine. It's the slot in the city's build queue that is the problem. If the outpost had a separate queue upgrades would get used more often and be another place to apply resources.
This. This would make me use the outpost upgrades more
I would also like to thank the devs, not for giving games out for free (I paid for mine), but for the quality of their work and their dialogue with us, their user base. Thank you for your dedication, skills and ability to listen. It is much appreciated
I don't think they've done anything wrong here. They've evolved the game and they've made an expansion to it, expansions cost money. You get LH cheaper if you already owned FE so that's a fair deal. I don't mind spending money on these games because they are great and I want to support their efforts. If you feel that spending money on LH is unfair, then don't - stick to FE which is plenty fun.
I've been back and forth on this. It's a tough one. These are the options (without getting into anything to fancy): 1. Pioneers return to their original costs. This incents players to quickly produce and spread pioneers for a Pioneer Explorer strategy, which can be fun but I feel like it is an unbalanced decisions and players don't have the play in the single city model for long.
Just wait it's coming when they produce Elemental: War of Magic : Fallen Enchantress's : Child of Greed III You really didn't think they were going to give you all the BEST in these free versions did you? heh Nope, I suspect just like GalCiv II that the best game will be in the last game @ $59.95
Would not mind as long as they make it! =D
I would like to see Minor Races added. These would be races that you could enslave, or vassals, allies or just someone to crush to take their stuff. They could also provide unique unit types, like lizardmen, orcs, ogres, etc. and also unique mounts like lizards, drakes, spiders and so on. Other races could provide a unique armor set, weapon set, trade options, spells and so on. This might be a bit much to add to the expansion and might require a DLC or a new expansion, but it's so
Spell Pack (bunch of magical spells) Quest Pack (bunch of new quests and events) Loot Pack (bunch of new loot and equipment) They're a bit time consuming to do but I think a lot of people would appreciate what they do AND understand why they're DLC and not part of the base game (which is half the battle on DLC -- you dont' want people thinking that the developers just cheaped out).
All th
I haven't found a way. I also tried to demolish the camp, but that wasn't possible either. Lots of expensive bandits keep spawning and me disbanding them =/
And for the rest of us who don't believe fairy tales are real, may you also have an enjoyable christmas/holiday with friends and family.
Though I agree with the sentiment, I believe there is a nicer way to put it: " And for the rest of us who don't believe in these religious proclemations, may you also have an enjoyable christmas/holiday with friends and family." Happy holidays everyone.
I managed it farily easily with my Magnar. I just used the different kinds of counterspells (Despair has a casting time of 1). If I remember correctly I believe Magnar had 120++ something spell mastery (it's from a finished game) and an army with 3 fel dragons and 1 ashwake dragon, with all dragons being level 20++. Gaining levels in an insane speed is easy once you get a dragon early on. It's as the saying goes "get them young and the possibilities are endless". With my spell
Limit is 1 dragon per dragon lair. I have no idea about the monument with 3 ashwake dragons yet. I however have an army with 3 fel dragons and 1 ashwake dragon (from a quest).
Asking a bit much out of expansions in my opinion. It has to be cost efficient for them. That's just how the world is I'm afraid.
