I have to agree with the general sentiment, a "map pack" doesn't really get me too excited. Even a high quality, dedicated, detailed, painstakingly designed map which I'm sure you intend to deliver isn't really what I think too many people are looking for in a 4X strategy game. I know that personally I've yet to touch any of the "scenario maps" in FE, Civ5, G&K, Civ4, Civ4 WL or BTS and barely played them in HoMM III and HoMMIV. I would however happily support cont

Thanks appreciate it, I figured it'd end up having to be done outside the game client after spending minutes looking for Edit and Delete functions. Mostly I'm just doing this to avoid having faction bloat when I try out something and don't end up liking it. With the custom units I just tend to leave alone, I don't mind at having the AI use them against me and it sure beats having to recreate them every game. It's nice too that you can retire them from inside the ga
*Not sure if this is the right place for this, if it belongs in support instead of general I apologize and wouldn't mind the thread being moved.* Just a simple question I fooled around with the editors today and while deleting a custom made Sovereign is pretty simple is there anyway to edit it without outright deleting it? And for player created factions is there anyway to do either from inside the game? Thanks.
@ Tuidjy I can see how that could work, very clever combo. I'll certainly try it out sometime. Personally though I'd still prefer to have a chance with the default sovereigns instead of creating a custom combo that stacks copious amounts of the best defensive stat or lucking out on an early super unit. I just wished they went with the Civ paradigm of di
Yeah I have to agree that the AI bonuses aren't handled in a reasonable way even considering the high difficulty settings. I'm curious to know if anyone has won something on Ridiculous or up without using something like Beastlord or completely lucking out from a random event or loot (collars with favorable beast spawns for example). It's one thing to be behind the AI and trying to play catch up, but to have them popping wonders, fielding hugely upgraded armies and the like
