I have my screen calibrated pretty well, and 50 brightness 50 contrast and this mod looked good for me. Are there any other things to mess with in the files you messed with to create this mod?
I knew things were going to get fun once I recruited my first Storm Dragon. Playing as Tarth is definitely something I'd recommend for beginners, it makes the wildlife a lot less threatening. Since the empire wasn't hassling me (I think they were having trouble with creeps) and my ally was being lame (64 kingdom rating when i had 320) I spent the time building awesome armies of spears and archers and clearing out wildlands. I don't have any problems with the Random maps, and I play on them most of the time, but I would also like to see more premade maps. Premade maps can have better balance and more attention to detail, so they can be fun to play on even if you are used to randoms.
