Since I have a savegame in which the issue does not happen I'm waiting until this bug is fixed by the developers. I hope that we get an answer to this issue and a bugfix soon :)

I am playing the scenarios, and I have experienced many times the same issue; suddenly I would find that my champions would be duplicated after certain events such as battles.
