The level 4 fortress improvement does exactly what I was thinking of, so my unrest comment can be ignored :-/ I do have a new observation: It looks like enemy sovereigns have traits from all of the trees when they surrender. Can they freely navigate between assassin defender and mage, etc?

Bugs first: So I am playing a game as Altar and as adventurer, and I've finally reached the point where I can buy and complete quests, and where I can complete the random quests that show up as game events. I don't seem to have gotten any fame for either of these types of quests, though I did get fame for the quest I did (that was a natural map quest), though that was on an earlier beta version. If this is actually the case, it should be fixed. I explored t

This looks really neat, and I am looking forward to this. On the other hand I hope that while this happens you look at some of the more major problems with FE, IMO. They are: Victory conditions need some reworking, particularly the magic/tech victory. (I have a few possible solutions listed in another post.) I've been thinking about it and trying to come up with ways I wish FE were improved. First, let me say I really enjoy the heroes. However, outside of that, I feel the game needs multiple changes to make it a more complete experience. Computer AI: I have played quite a lot and the computer has only ever defeated me through wiping me out militarily. The computer should be more of a threat in other ways as well. The simplest one would be to ha

Flamewave doesn't always work. It takes the time to cast, but at least twice (in the same battle granted) it did the visual effect, but no damage occurred. There is also a bugged quest that I have encountered several times. It is rated strong, and while it occurs naturally it seems to occur every time I use the quest map item. The basic idea is that the people of an inn have been kidnapped by wildings. When you catch up to them, you have three options:
