I plan on having 8 - 12 total "players", 4 which are playable. the 4 players will be human/ai controlled with faction exclusive events granted through unique resources, buildings or something else. The remaining 8 will preferably spawn from events. One idea is to have your faction "conquer" a fourth city, and 2 specific cities will be event conquered. Another is to have the extra factions have no starting point and spawn a city (or pioneer) at a certain point. Of course

Wow, smart! I didn't realize I could use a hidden resource with FactionResourceLevel, I wondered what that was for. If I can use that for subquests, that would be preferable. I am still working on making A or B choices that "continue" the quest down a different line. A quest might have 6 tasks before complete, each step offering a choice on how to proceed. Quests are more difficult than anything i have done before, so I am still learning how to get started on that.

I get it, so I can have a faction with 4 traits, or a faction with 3 traits. I noticed I can also have faction exclusive traits. I just need to keep in line unit design for those special factions.

In my proposition, you could raze the city to build a specialized city however it wouldn't give any of the units, the units WOULD be the specialization and with all the essence you could build monsters that can be enchanted with 4-6 enchantments. build all your essence increase there.

They should add a nice unique bonus or something to the City Hubs for it, maybe the ability to train darklings in the city? Warrior, Archer, Shaman would be the 3 types and I would mod it to summon them akin to the Binding Shards and Camp Improvements, however they would be unable to upgrade weapons/armor and wouldn't impress. Unless their art tags are ported to a unit design model? They are of appropriate size to wear/carry most weapon/armors. I will look into that.

Sounds like you edited your core files! Go to properties, validate files and backup your changes because the files will "Fail to validate" and be replaced. At that time, it will update.

I think they wanted to encourage troops to be built anywhere not just fortresses, but they figured out they can't ever convince me so that conclave building is just a "remnant", I would have it work toward ALL cities not just that city so that at least the improvement might get built.

1. I like the idea of a repeatable trait, similar to repeatable tech research. 2. I also favor giving second class tree at level 30, which should give enough perks to fix that. I would like an event, that occurs when a strong empire declares war against a weak one (which does not trigger on blood curse). This event will spawn 800 Gold, 100 metal, crystal, 20 wargs, 20 horses, and +4 levels for all currently existing units. It is moddable, meaning a copy can be read from the /mygames directory however the ENTIRE file has to be present because the old one won't read. This means you can't just copy-paste a snip, you need the entire file, with the 1-2 changes you made. I changed my stance, Commander is OP because of Trainer and no other reason. I suppose giving army accuracy until that point is pretty good for archer lines. Mage is good because of Knowledge + Potential. So good, I never choose anything else, my first 4 upgrades are already chosen, instead of leveling just give me a script to auto-choose. Everything else... meh. I can design a unit with it.
