I've played the game lots. To be clear - I bought Battleground (ignore the 1.8 reference if that helps). Is the opening menu meant to be different because it is the same / and how does one choose stamps during the menu please, I can't see that option either? Thanks for your reply.

I just bought 1.8 Battleground from steam, fired up FE:LH and can't see any difference. Checked steam and the content is downloaded. Have also restarted computer. Still can't see any new content. Am I missing something... I was expecting new maps at least?
