I noticed a Kraxis scout unit recruit a hero which were two squares away. I had a town between the scout and the hero. The hero was standing adjacent to the town. It is possible that the town was considered distance cost 0 when calculating, and thus making the scout believe it was adjacent. If that's how the formula looks like then enemy towns should not be considered distance 0. This game is still amazing.
I'm enjoying the game a lot. Here are some minor bugs: I had a non-aggression pact with another player (Pariden). And that player made an outpost in the zone of control of one of my cities. This doesn't feel like it should be allowed. When leveling up a shieldman unit received as one of the new possible skills, one of his starting skills, the shieldwall skill. I didn't take that skill, but will do it if I see it again.
I updated to graphic driver Nvidia 301.42 (Windows 7 64 bit), I'm using a Geforce GT 520. I still get that the arrow starts flying from the side of the screen, and not from the archer, Tarth being the archer in this case. It flies towards the target as it should.
These are some bugs I've run into. I haven't been able to play much yet though. * When my city goes from level 1 to level 2 there are different descriptions of the effect of the Training Yard. The tooltip says +10 accuracy, and the main description says +15 accuracy. * There are a lot of things that can go missing when you load a previous game.
