So many diffirent choces. I will try to mix them up. By the way i bought precurser worlds DLC to spice up the game a bit and started a new game. But i only met only 1 precurser World (lvl 14 and not so great) so far. Do you think optimised races are OP? Which means declaring immediate war, but who

Playing as a looter sounds fun, i should also try scavanger too with that. @ tetleytea; i can beat Gifted but i never tried higher difficulties. Maybe it is relative, it may be too easy for you but not for me. But i don't think Godlike AI would be soo easy, it is GODLIKE men.

I always start a game with deep planning. For example, capture this planet, research that to improve this, build this improvement on thant planet, this planet will be my production planet... But then everything goes greedy and messy like; must...capture...all...resurces...must...destroy...all...races...auto build this planet, autobuild some ships and send them that planet. I think i rush the mid game and got bored late game. But early game is still fun. I guess i am impatient sometimes(often)

I have not played a while after Crusade hype. I really want to play a fun game in a big map. I prefer science victory of maybe influence. What are your map choices, race choices, strategies for science victory? I played versus Gifted AI generally. But i got bored at late game. Anything to prevent that? Sorry about my English.

Actually i can run the game smoothly even on higher display options. I only worry abaut blowing my pc up. I asked arround on the discord channel abaut the situation. It seems GPU heat is normal-ish, but i must definetely do something abaut CPU heat. Maybe buying another fan, applying thermal paste, cleaning up the box drops the heat a litlle bit.
As far as I know the tech rate does scale (slow down) somewhat for the larger map sizes. I tend to play on the larger maps, and I've never had a problem with an AI beating me with a tech victory because I'm beating them with one first [e digicons]XD[/e] So maybe not the answer you were looking for ... I rarely try to conquer everyone else on those large maps, I usually get a tech or alliance victory instead.
I don't have the patience to deal with the "cat and mouse" and I seldom finish a game for this reason. Once I have established dominance the game is over. I usually save the game but never return to play it out.
Thats what i intend to do but i am after steam achievement. Krynn Victory. *Is there a GalCiv3 discord?*

Thank you for your answers. I started a new game on a huge map with normal difficulty as Kryn Syndicate. I quickly get use to new mechanics. I didnt finish the game yet but i got the upperhand, except Drengin. He sends one ship fleets everywhere. It is hard to defend. My fleets are greater then his but i am sick of playing cat-Mouse with him. Any ideas to defend and push the attack?

As for a former SoaSE:Rebellion player, I would like to see some new things in GalCivIII. -Mobile starports, Like Vasari has. After some loooooong researh we can transport our starport (military starports) moving. Can move 2 or 3 tiler per turn. Can only attack ships, starports and shipyards. Can not attack planets. -Titans, like in Rebellion. Huge ships that covers 2 or 4 tiles. -A market would be good. Only trade minerals, no t
