I am in the same boat as Winnihym. I'm on Win 7 64 and have all latest drivers, but can only get about one game in four to go past about 20 turns without having FE crash as soon as I end the turn. Its a little frustrating. I realize its beta, but its really difficult to even try to test, because I have no feedback on what to try to detect/avoid the crash.
That's weird. I'm on Wi

I was playing with Ceresa and Miruca. Ceresa was stationed next to my town's teritorial border, while Miruca was stationed 3 tiles farther. With Miruca selected, I open the spellbook, choose "Inspiration" and then click on my town to boost the research. Instead of Miruca casting the spell, it's Ceresa who casts it. This doesn't seem quite normal.

During battle I used a "healing potion" giving +40 life. Allthough by hoovering over my souvereign I was able to see it reachd 51/51 life again, the bar above the character didn't get refilled until next turn.

I) Attacked Abeix with Ceresa and a warg. I wasn't able to hit Abeix with Soul Burning/Flame Dart at all. The cursor was barred and the following messages were displayed : "Target tile is blocked" or "This ability must hit enemies" ... while using quick combat, my hero was more than happy to cast both Soul Burning and Flame Dart at Abeix and finally defeat him. II) In the same battle against Abeix, the monster casts "Fear" but betwe

Bingjack, wise troop mixing is part of basic manoeuvring principles. In real life, cavalry is either light or heavy. Heavy cavalry is more powerful than the light one, because of it's armour and weapons... it sacrifices manoeuvrability for strength, while the light cavalry although not as powerful offers the advantage of manoeuvrability.
Shouldn't armies be made up of more than just fast units? Wouldnt combat be more interesting on

The only thing a military outpost needs to have is the possibility to garrison troops inside it and a small defence bonus when compared to "wandering" troops. This would allow the outpost to accomplish it's MAIN functions, namely: zone of influence, keeping an eye on the enemy, protecting mines/shrines and harassment of enemy scouts/pioneers. Anything more than this, and we are talking a different structure.

At the end of the tactical battle, with all the foes killed, my active unit was still at the turn, the moving cursor was barred and no action possible. Clicking around the battlefield made the game crash. Crash log: http://www.woofiles.com/dl-288615-mkSGH4a6-FallenEnchantress08620120227T234456366.zip

The notion of retaliation is paramount to any turn based tactical battle. Some units should have the ability to retaliate to the first hit in a turn, but shouldn't retaliate to the second, third, nth hit in that turn. Other units should have the ability to retaliate one extra time per turn, while others should have the "no enemy retaliation" characteristic. There could also be a spell that gives one extra retaliation to the affected unit for that turn or a chance to retaliate ever

Impossible to end current turn. I tried to save the game for the bug report and the game crashed on save. I restarted the game, loaded the auto save and then it worked, so you guys may not be able to reproduce this via the auto save file. Crash zips + auto save file here: savegame_and_crash_zip_files.rar - 11.1 MB

Stardock, give us multi player. Nobody needs complex server infrastructure with millions of lines of code for load balancing, or complex ranking systems. E:FE is not that kind of game. But the ability to enjoy cooperative campaigns with friends or quickly host a peer to peer game with buddies and spin a few turns is a must. One master server for game handshaking and rankings is more than enough. A well balanced single player will lead to a balanced multi pl

I don't think this would qualify as a bug, but if you looked closely at the image attached, you would see that my 2 outposts (NW and SE in relation with my "mainland") have an empty territory, meaning the territory under their influence is not filled with any color. Wouldn't it make more sense for the outpost's territories to have the same color as the mainland, since they are both under my influence and basi
