Kantok, these are the exact problems I have with the current road systems, (I dont care too much for roads going through monsters or silly heroes). I wish I could mend it sometimes, when the road system decides all roads leads to... stupid city I never visit. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

I honestly doesn't get corrupted save-game files for some reason, but I can't be bothered taking the last few turns in my large maps, I usually am trying to check up on different strategies, bugs and features, how they work and how it is bugged. currently working on strategies, and figuring out what I think is out of balance with the current cities :) that said, I do save once each 2 hours, quit the game totally, re-enter the game and load my own game. just for the sak
Quoting Bingjack, reply 9I think it would be far easier to simply give more control to a human player to place the roads, than trying to teach the AI to do it intelligently. There are too many variables. Even if it were twice as good as it is now, humans could still make better decisions. I don't disagree with you; I just think you're underestimating the effort involved in planning, developing, tuning, and testing a b

Why? if you don't make any changes to stats when alerting look by adding armor varritations you are making things unrealistic. Take for example if darklings had existed in the middle ages in the real world and if one had more armor than the other and they were same in all other aspects then it is o

Kongdej, I am trying to find a solution that we can do until they fix it on their own somehow. In my opinion, this is a simple solution and I think will work. I might even increase the amount to 300 gold for a pioneer, at least for myself.
Can you make it so cities is an upgrade from
Here you go, some outposts placed waaaay too close to eachother, even saw the AI put down the second one, while the first one were up (same player). Though i'd contribute a pic of the AI putting down 2 outposts too close to eachother :) Sincerely ~ Kongdej
another way to do it, is let the green dots show when you keep the right button clicked and pressed, so one click still moves the unit, but you can keep the right mouse button pressed to see the pathing before the move. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Instead of putting up a requirement before you are able to create pioneers or cities, I think settling new cities should be tied to a high gildar and production cost, hopefully nothing that hits outposts in the same way. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I want to be able to right click a location, see that dotted green line indicating the intended path, then right click it again to initiate the move if it seems sane. Otherwise, I want to know ahead of time if I'm going to need to micro that units movement. What the extra step in the process costs in time, it will save far more in frustration. He's just lonely and needs a hug!, a big big warm hug... I hope we get less wandering bosses, and instead the spawn underling, fire elementals or something to rage on the world. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I'd prefer other races getting slight improvements instead of reducing Trog's bonus. The Quendar one is especially bad and needs a pick up from its current level. Other racials that I find very meh are Wraiths, Altarians (a bit better than the others), Mancers, and Umber. Abilities which I believe are great as is are those of the Amarians, Gilden, and Krax. Tarth's small army bonus is middle-ground between meh and awesome.
I wish I could just change it right there instead of starting a new game. I also want to be able to customize my gear color if possible. Heroes I hire often have black leather armor while my leather armor is tan.
Pretty much agree with this part, (Found I made
Hi there, the rushing one I can tell you for certain is because you build low-production items, in a high-production city, the time it takes for it to be build is "capped" at 3 turns, so a minimum of 3 turns have to pass unless you rush it, then when the city build the hammers needed, and you look at rushing (or rushes at this point), you will actually receive Gildar, Pretty bugged if you ask me, several threads on this already. Second one, Yea I saw this too, pretty silly, thanks for
/Signed, Except Enchanted hammers seem to be able to update... as the only one ^^ Was going to post this sometime, but then I forgot... (as usual xD). Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Got a really good point Greggbert, I personally doesn't use the cloth-map a lot, (except for enjoying the cloth-map graphics xD) Still needs to work, saddest part of the cloth map is I cannot tell hills, mountains and flatlands apart... precisely. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I will change the suggestion slightly, make the auto-moving ai smart enough to move through other units, without stacking with them, I know its possible for the AI, and when your armies are too big, so why not for 2 small armies? Sincerely ~ Kongdej
My biggest problem with "does X when idle" is the placement in the current system, conclaves get this extremely early on, when they have tons of stuff to build, while it would be more fitting as a lvl 4-5 upgrade or a lategame building when you are running out of options. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I think the best possible solution idea I have seen (not even my own) was to make new cities cost additional construction from the origin city, say you put down an outpost, and could upgrade it with warden, hightower, or "Create Settlement". Or some similar idea. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
more differentiation would be great, although I don't like the idea of stats changing due to how they look. One easier way to do it would give each random darkling and similar creature a chance for random useless items and/or looks altering Perks. More visuals, always more visuals :D Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I hope they don't take the ability away from life mages, I like this spell because it restricts your champion selection but gives one powerfull mage, call it what you want, if I want the story/flavour to be different I personally can imagine a different story in my head :D Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Items does not weigh a percentage, but weight like 5 units out of... whatever units have as standard (usually 30). The Design unit UI is terrible at explaining this. The weight system works like for heroes, except you get the result as a percentage factor instead of weight in stones (or whatever is the form of measurement in the game). Took myself some time to figure out, probably could use a slight update to the user interface to reflect how the weight works. Sincerel

The majority of stats for heroes needs to come from the hero, not the weapon from random loot.
That sounds really like how I would want it, create it if I had to create it myself, and what I prefer choosing if there are any options I can take, so I would really favour this, Mostly because random super item drop = game becomes rather easy for me, running around cleaving stuff, not caring, just batting. @ Supreme Shogun, I wont hate on you :) Its always nice to see the contrast sometimes, Id just hope to get rid of the mechanic for these starts, while I may be able to ctrl+n it doesn't feel good to have starting positions where I basically have to generate a new map, not because the start is poor, but because the start is next to unplayable.
