Quoting LightofAbraxas, reply 2I'm probably the only one, but I actually liked the barren maps in WoM (we probably disagree there). Because as it is right now, the worlds just seem like a mish-mash of (pretty garish) colors (we probably agree here). I do think that Fertile Land spreads far to much late game in FE. It pretty much replaces all the wasteland. I would like to see a limit on how much it can spread because I think a

you can upgrade units? xD I usually just send my units to they're doom somewhere, and build new :) Cannot really speak about why the AI tends to spam glass cannon units, meaby they are trying to play a different game where multiple armies are allowed in the same combat? :D. Just my 2 cents. Most games like this, its very hard to find a real person to play with. If this allows you to play multi player with REAL people and AI accounts (or a mix of both). Then it rocks!
Quoting Trojasmic, reply 8I'm fairly certain the AI is not playing by the same gold maintenance rules we are so taking over an AI city becomes a maintenance disaster. That is a bold accusation and requires proof. The reason why you are so easily able to take those cities is the economic disaster the AI has created.
Asking for proof is rather silly if u ask me, and is just a measure
Agree! :D nothing proper to post, just want to put in that I concur with the above post ^_^ Sincerely ~ Kongdej
just spam scouts, thats how i scout stuff xD cities in the current version have so big idle time, I usually spam cannon fodder units and send them to theyre deaths for some meagre advantage like exploring, or outposting every single corner of the map. They prolly should fix stuff like roads through Delins Realm and spamming scouts/outposts Sincerely ~ Kongdej
7. Raise Land should be able to fully block access, rather than leaving large gaps for enemies to go through.: There is a lvl 4 spell that is called create mountain for this exact purpose, raise land is used to raise the ocean i think (and in mp to annoy ppl). That said they SHOULD upgrade the graphics for raise land, especially when raise/lower land is used near mountains/shores. Rest is pretty decent, some of them answered in other posts (Like multiplayer, it will pr

I like the putting up alot of bugs, have been thinking about some of these too. Within reason, of course...
Erh, thats some conclusion, you're making a version of the game yourself? I feel there are more ways to fix a problem than one, and it seems it was intended for heroes to run around being heroic in the wild, in which it would feel empty to just house arrest him in some city and leave it
Agreed with 1st. havent seen 2nd and 3rd... :S you using some kind of weird mod? xD I usually see mages trying to cast slow/curse even though they are going solo, then they stand and try to curse and slwo my army while being peppered by archers. As long as a trade is mutually beneficial, both parties will come closer to winning and thus have an advantage over the rest of the players in the game. Your theory on trading only works in a binary system. Of course you should never trade with a direct rival or a warmonger that has shown his true colors. <br
Forgive me if this has already been suggested, but I think that it would be an excellent idea, especially because this game has a little while to go as a beta, to separate the computer production bonuses from the computer intelligence. I know that the AI settings are a bit cooky right now, but it would greatly facilitate us testing whether or not the AI does really smart or really stupid things without having to deal with hordes of enemy units - or with, if we wan
Nice of you to bump in, Have you cought up that you can only build a city a minimum of 8 tiles away from any other city (which is usually why it doesnt show resources on my scree). So if you build a city, and hover over settle on a pioneer, it would only show resources (In line of sight) on terrain, that gives resources (not all terrain does this for some reason), 8+ tiles away from any other city including the one you just built. The city mechanic is very poorly described, and v

Also, would be nice to see some more map creation options, like "how much land/water on the map", and more map sizes, and "How many random heroes on the map". Would also be nice to have some lategame solution to heroes battlewound, so I could treat some significant nerf to my heroes, like my main "barbarian" style hero getting 15% penalty to str. So some kind of sick bay for the poor smuck - This would save me alot of stress saving/loading because heroes in no way is in a position to
