Better Planets, More Ship parts Mods in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Anyone know where to get mods for GalCiv 2, I have the ultimate edition and have seen some videos on youtube where people were using some nice mods. I really want a more ships parts mod, not pre-made ships mod. Is there such a thing? Multi-weapon ship only seems to use the same attack in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

How does a ship decide what weapon to use when you command it to attack? For example, one of my ships has all three weapons types, but I have only ever seen it fire a 'flaming ball', kinda like Ryu. Why does it only ever use the same weapon when it has mulitiple weapons at it's disposal? Than

Hello I have just started this game, done the tutorial 3 times. Didn't press turn once. Even when my pioneers had taken 2 of 2 moves (2/2) I was still able to move again without pressing 'turn'. I also noticed that in the battles I never pressed 'turn' once. So when should I be pressing 'turn' and why do we have a move counter if it doesn't do anything?
