Thanks Kongdej, this might explain some of the difficulty I've been having. I've mostly been focusing on Magic and Warfare. Cuz ya know, it's cool.

As someone who has played FFH and Civ, but an Elemental n00b, I'd be interested in research priorities and build priorities in the early game. One thing that seems strange to me coming from other games, I feel like I can only get three cities established before I'm boxed in on the map I'm playing in, then I just have to go with outposts. Am I doing it wrong or is this normal?
