I am not in the beta because I wait for release to buy any game. I have been hurt too many times by well-meaning companies (Blizzard). I like some of the things I see in this version of Elemental. The quest system may not be finished, but I hope they do better than E:WOM did. Building quests would add so much fun to this game. If I knew it was going to be in there and that the mods from the other game would have this feature I would buy it for sure. I hope this wo

Okay it would be fine for diplomacy but as you said, a scout unit can be made and does pretty much all the scouting one needs. If you can't get there with a scout army how will knowing about it help your cause? Loot is pretty standard in this kind of game. I don't think FE is ready to be pushing boundaries and trying new things. It just needs to do what worked for the other great TBS games. Okay so you might lose a scout in the early game where a map would have warned you. T

I wasn't here for that but it seems like a total waste of loot. Why the hell would I want a part of the map uncovered when I could get a good sword? I literally can't think of anything I would less rather have than a treasure map. From what you describe, it doesn't even have any treasure on the map.
