Downloading of maps in Beta Feedback Sins Forums

So, my friend just made a map in the forge and when I tried to join his game it told me I didn't have the file. Then we arranged to have the file transferred. Why didn't the file just automatically download so that we didn't have to arrange ?

Its not the connection but your computers. with this many ships your computer must calculate physics and move all the ships.
