Hanging on wait in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

I have read a couple of the posts regarding this issue, i downloaded the support program, it generated a zip file (just not sure what to do with it.) My problem is the same as the others i've read - late game hanging on wait between turns. However, If it helps, i also have the save game file (under 4mb) the save is from the turn just before it happens. I've re-launched the game several times with this save and tried different in game things to see if something
