Another solution would be to add the qualifier: world wonders can ONLY be selected for building IF they are the only item in the queue. Naturally, one would also have to add: When a world wonder is in the queue, no other item can be placed in the queue. If this were intrroduced, than I would be fine with Derek Paxton</
Is it good for AI to remove encumbrance? Yes!!!
This is a fair point. If the AI couldn't handle the encumbrance mechanic, I'd sooner have smart AI without encumbrance than dumb AI with it.
So it was just brought to my attention that your militia will only fight once. Ever. If your city gets attacked by multiple armies, your militia will only fight in the first battle, and then are never seen again. Meaning, if you have an awesomely defended castle, and an enemy decides to attack it with two weak armies, you'll easily crush the first one, and probably take no casualties, but then for some reason, the militia simply don't appear, so the enemy just ta

I run dual monitor as well. I run full screen FE. Edge scrolling works for me until the first time I minimize the game to do something on my other screen. From then on I experiance the same as you. I have found no way to fix it. I just got used to zoom out and zoom in on zoom to cursor.
So, does this just extract to your Quests dir? Or the mods dir?
Been like that since FE, always considered it a bug (considering that a Storm Dragon costs 1.5g upkeep, as comparison)
Which I think is too cheap. Imo, Storm Dragon should cost 3gp/turn and 3mana/turn for upkeep. Knights of Asok should cost in the realm of 2gp/turn for upkeep.

It annoys me that, when the AI *offers* me tribute, I get a negative point against my diplomatic stance with them because I'm currently "demanding tribute" that I never actually asked for...
Yeah, that's just wrong. If they offer it, you should be getting a +1 because they appriciate your empire defending them.

Easily subverted by having a fortress or two, which yields an overall reduction to unrest throughout the empire. The trait there is to force the player to build a balanced empire (in a sense). If one ignores towns, then food and gold are hard to come by. If one ignores conclaves research and mana will be hard to come by... if one ignores fortresses, then unrest and

I would have thought that 4 towers would exist. The 1st, achievable only though city growth and reaching level 6 status (as mentioned above) The other 3 existing along each of the three techtree types. Different places perhaps along each of the paths... Maybe 'earth' in the Economy tree. Maybe 'fire' in the Warerfare tree. Maybe 'water' in the Magic tree Then 'air' in the level 6 upgrade.
YES! I would love this. Thought it would have already been part of the manual/auto placement option.

I too love having my capital be the center of all that is good, prosperous, and aspiring. However, I've learned that ctrl-N really is the way to go....at least until better/more stamps are made and added to the mix.
While I agree that this should be possible, I am for having this as a separate treaty that has the prerequisite of Ally status.
