Not really sure how you claim to solo most things with your assassin hero as in my experience standard troops have been buffed so significantly that heroes are not as powerful anymore. High initiative, high damage monsters will kill your assassin easily (plague stalkers, umberloths, etc.). Losts of enemies in packs will swarm you down. Especially early on since you have to decide whether to buff damage or defense capabilities of your assassin. Also, high accuracy almost completely negates eve
