I mean, you could always just give one race a research that makes their shields immune to phase weapons.
Oh, okay. So race A has lots of shields and no mitigation, and is immune to shield piercing. Race B has weak shields and 90% mitigation. Weapon Z has 100% Phasing, so it does full damage to race B, but doesn't do anything special t
Minimum shield mitigation is set in each race's player file...IIRC, setting that to zero and then setting max shield mitigation to zero for each entity will remove it from the infocard....
Hmm, if I do that, does that mean I don't have to change it manually on every ship to zero as well? In addition, does it work similarly for removing armor, because I know there's a value fo

I remember that exact response, but I'm not sure if it applies to Rebellion. Didn't earlier versions of Sins have shield mitigation that was fixed? I seem to remember a time before it slowly increased as you were hit.

I'm trying to remove shield mitigation for the purposes of modding, but I seem to be at the stage where I set it at 0%, but it is stuck appearing at 15%. Is it really at 15%, or is that just a graphical error and it's at 0%? Is the error fixable, or am I doomed to have to deal with it?

How is the damage? Will things blow up fast like in Dominion War episodes, or will it be like regular sins, where you need to wait 10 minutes to kill a corvette?
One thing to consider: Using very conservative numbers, the Empire is quite capable of building and crewing eight hundred Imperial Star Destroyers per year.
The Yuuzhan Vong War killed over 365 trillion people. I don't think crewing would be a problem. Nor building, as the Deaths Stars mass millions of Star Destroyers, and were built in a few months. The Empire already builds far mor
It's not a strained analogy at all--it's meant as a metaphor. Something can be perceived as "obviously invincible", a.k.a. "God himself couldn't sink this ship", from a particular viewpoint but, in actual fact, be full of holes logically. Successful rhetoric is not actual success. The extra dense armor would explain the slow and clumsy movement of large SW capital ships (actually, the need for cinemat
It also helps that, in-game, the Empire would actually likely have fewer powerful ships, to represent the fact that they are merely a small group dispatched to quell a small problem, rather than the bulk of the Imperial Fleet.
How does that work when the Millennium Falcon could kill everything by itself?
1. The acceleration figure I gave was derived for a vessel the size of a small moon. Further, calcs derived from the 40K novel Sabbat Martyr gives an Imperial capital ship an acceleration on the order of 8000-9000g. An ISD-II can manage 2300g.
I thought that they had somewhere between 1000-3000. My bad.
2. Does the Empire really have
Oh, Titans definitely kill AT-ATs. One thing is, that 40K ships have higher acceleration (the Phalanx, a moon-sized fortress-monastery of the Imperial Fists Legion, handled an acceleration as high as 1700g*; ref Flight of the Eisenstein), and regularly fight at thousands-to-millions of kilometers of range.
As does SW, they are almost identical in speed, but the empire has a range advantage due fighting at the same ran
Have another black hole of idiocy. When their hyper drive failed in TESB, they traveled to another system at sublight. How close did you say two stars could be?
Or they had a backup slower hyperdrive? Bum bum bum... Also to anyone saying SW doesn't have replicators, one name: World Devastator.
